WHAT DENTISTRY DO WE DO?
There is nothing to argue about, this is not a commercially designed website and its appearance is neither sleek or stylish; but what you get as the first impression visiting my web actually reflect the true nature and philosophy of my practice. My specialty is about fine dentistry that patients could take home and enjoy for years, if not for life long. But, I am not here to show off a celebrity dental practice, or how busy I am with lecture or how hot a ticket I am with the media; I simply put all the focus on dentistry, and the quality of dentistry my patients get from me. Therefore, I am only here to share with you the excitement and miracles made possible by new approaches in dentistry, that makes traditional dentistry look like a piece of old rug that should go recycled.
In order that you see the
real beef, I have provided many, many pictures of cases that I personally
treated since 1997. You can click
or
to see them. Compare our works with those of the top guns in Las Vegas or
Boston, which you may find on their websites, and you will find our works are
actually next to none, if not all better..
Even though occasionally we still do restorative dentistry, but the skill-intensive cosmetic dentistry has been our focus for almost a decade. Instead of just copying the old, problematic cosmetic or brace technique, we have successfully developed our own revolutionary technique which is, surprisingly, based entirely on existing and well recognized principles in dentistry. In another word, we do not invent new dentistry.
For examples, how do you like to have your protruding, crowded or spaced front teeth permanently corrected in 1 week, rather than wearing braces for two years (and sometimes sacrificing a few precious teeth)?

Let's be very frank, this
technique is down right revolutionary; if you compare this technique with the
traditional braces, it is quite like to compare a supersonic jet with a horse
buggy, and not just in their speeds but also in comfort, safety, and overall
results. However, there is one limitation: it is only indicated for a person
over 18.

Or, how would you like to forever stop that embarrassing, gummy smile in just one hour?

This is just another
technique that sounds totally incredible to you, and your family dentist the
like. But I can assure you I am
not here to brag about my fantasy; instead, these ingenuous
approaches have served hundreds of my patients very well
since 1997.
As you browse thru these pages, you will see
tons of pictures of my patients, taken before
and after their treatments. Due to the already large patient pool, most likely
you should be able to find cases similar to your own, and you can
probably figure
out what kind of improvement you can expect to get, in just 7-10days.

INSURANCE?
If you happen to think like the genius from your friendly dental insurance company, that the insured only owe to themself the dentistry they can get by with, then you probably won't even need us. But if you care to invest in the long term, for both the look and well-being of your teeth and mouth, then you might want to discuss your need with us . We are simply not the "provider" to any insurance plan, we are only provider of good sense dentistry to our patients.

COMMERCIALIZED DENTISTRY?
Have you ever come across some discount dental coupons as you flip thru your Sunday newspaper and wondered why dentists are running their practice more and more like discount liquor shops?
Also, have you got the impression lately, that every time you went back for regular dental check up, your good old family dentist always came up with some new idea, such as replacing all of your silver fillings with the white ones? You couldn't help noticing that he already added some new expensive gadgets to his consortium of dental equipment and he became all enthusiastic about introducing to you a new array of dental terminology like laser tooth bleaching, porcelain inlays, cosmetic veneers, etc., and you were even told that if you don't replace your good old silver fillings with white ones, you would get terrible diseases like multiple sclerosis or may even drop dead in a few years!
Some people might wonder why his/her dentist isn't quite positive or interested in treating a broken or slightly loose tooth. The reason may very well be that yanking the tooth and replacing it with a dental implant looks also like a reasonable solution, except that much less effort, chair time or skill is involved than preserving the tooth, but bring more financial reward, often times.
New dental gadgets like laser bleaching often involve expensive machine but no skill required; another expensive gadget Cerec-3D , which is used to produced computerized porcelain dental restorations, can't produce miracles for mediocre dentist sufferring from some deficiency in basic dental skill . What those new, expensive gadgets mean to a dentist with questionable skill level is like what a nuclear bomb means to a country like India or North Korea. It is nothing more than a decoration for an otherwise shadowed image, but a powerful tool for promoting commercialized dentistry to the unsuspecting consumers.
Therefore, if you happened to be a big fan for new dental gadgets and discount dental coupon, then better make sure that the bright smile they promise you with, isn't just something displayed on the office posters, or coupon.

OFFICE HOURS BY APPOINTMENT
ONLY
MON-FRI:
10:00-5:30 SAT:9:30-1:00
In order that the doctor could absolutely focus on his patient without being interrupted or distracted, our patients are required to make appointments in advance. We do not accept walk-ins. Once the appointment is made, our valuable time is reserved for that patient and for that patient alone. This should be regarded as a courtesy and expected to be appreciated and respected. If a new patient fails his/her initial appointment without reasons we deem adequate, he/she may permanently forsake his/her appointment privilege with us.

STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE
AN OPERATING SYSTEM
THAT IS AS FAIR AND
FAILSAFE AS POSSIBLE, GUARANTEED!
The first thing on our priority list is that, you must feel very comfortable with us and with the treatments we render. That's the main philosophy behind our operating system, which greatly helps to cultivate the trust and appreciation of a patient toward us, right from the very beginning when he/she meets us.
When a patient calls, please understand that our receptionist isn't ready to answer inquiries that are deemed your personal, such as the predicted treatment outcomes, anticipated costs or time involved, etc. Our receptionist do not quote any treatment fee on the phone, except the NT$1,500 for the initial consultation/exam. What our receptionist can do for a new patient, however, is to set up an appointment for him/her with the doctor, and to answer questions in general.
Our new patient should also be aware that, unlike his/her previous experiences with other dentists, the initial visit with us normally do not involve actual treatments. Instead, it is more of a consultation and evaluation in nature. This is when the patient's condition is thoroughly studied, his goals fully understood, the rationale of doctor's proposed treatment and its potential outcomes, risks and limitations fully explained, financial details fully discussed, and NT$1,500 collected to pay for the time and effort dedicated to the patient so he /she can be best informed of the specifics regarding the proposed treatment.
At the end, patient may decide to go home and think it over, in which case we will just absolutely leave the patient alone. However, if the patient decides to go along with the treatment, then there are consent forms to be signed and certain amount of deposit is required to reserve the appointment for his/her treatment.
We have found no complaint, misunderstanding, disputes or arguments from patients ever since we set up this fair and failsafe operating systems; patients are also more relaxed, comfortable, and confident in our services, being so treated with absolute fairness and respect. Now you can't help asking, why not every dentist in the world does the same thing?
